Priel began his 30-year real estate career in investment and development by privately funding a group of commercial and real estate acquisitions in the Los Angeles area. In 1980, Priel was appointed Vice President of Gor Construction and Development, and followed as President of Priel Investment Properties, Inc. Ten years later, Priel joined forces with Eli Tene to build a platform of companies known as the Corporate Network, which is a one-stop-shop of various real estate services. He received his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Northridge and holds a Law degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
Tene is specialized in commercial joint ventures, foreclosures, residential and commercial real estate, financing, loss mitigation and the upgrading of distressed properties. Throughout his varied career, Tene has negotiated over 1,000 short sale transactions, managed various real estate portfolios, and gained invaluable experience in pricing and analytics. Tene received his education at California State University, Northridge.
Houston served as a principal and Executive Vice President of The Helvetica Group in 2003. Since that time, he has been involved with the underwriting, system integration, marketing and origination of private-money real estate loans on residential, commercial, industrial and development properties throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Prior to Helvetica, Houston worked in various capacities within the brokerage industry. He was the co-founder of Mr. Stock, an online brokerage firm where he was responsible for the concept, development, growth, operations, marketing and profitability of $50-million+ of customer assets. Houston also served as Senior Vice President of Datek Online Financial Services, implementing new brokerage products, supervising a 50 person trading department as well as overseeing trading related issues for customer service, marketing, regulators and other broker-dealers. Houston has a B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Bill Soncini, Operations
Soncini started his career as a Financial Analyst at Great American Group, a valuation firm based in Woodland Hills, CA. He quickly rose through the ranks to become a Project Manager, leading a team responsible for providing risk management to various private equity groups and commercial lenders nationwide. Soncini was successful at identifying turnaround situations and liquidation strategies by analyzing industry trends, competitive pressures, and various financial metrics. After Great American Group, he joined Wells Fargo Foothill, a commercial lender in Santa Monica, CA. At Foothill, Soncini worked on a team managing a portfolio consisting of various distribution, manufacturing, and software companies, providing roughly $500 million in credit facilities. While monitoring the financial performance of each of these companies, he also analyzed specific market trends and made key portfolio adjustments to hedge associated risks. Soncini has a B.S. in Business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
